Which files are supported?

The current version supports EPUB files without DRM. PDF, Kindle formats, TXT, audiobooks, and encrypted EPUB files are not supported.

Why will my EPUB not import?

The file may be encrypted, incomplete, or structured without readable book text. Try opening a DRM-free EPUB from a trusted source.

Where are my books stored?

Imported content and reading progress are stored in Floe's local app container on this iPhone. Floe does not provide cloud sync.

How do I change speed?

Tap the reading page to reveal the controls and pause. Drag the speed slider between 0.5x and 5.0x, then hide the controls to continue at the new pace. Double-tapping into fully lit passage mode initially sets the speed to 2.0x; you can adjust it afterward.

How do I jump to another chapter?

Tap the reading page to reveal the controls, then tap Chapters below the speed slider. Choose a chapter from the list. Chapters remains available whether or not you have purchased Floe Plus.

How do I remove local data?

The current version does not include a per-book delete control. Deleting Floe from the iPhone removes data stored in its app container.

What does Floe Plus include?

Floe Plus is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks timed Daily Book Shower sessions, an optional daily reminder and five additional reading palettes. Ordinary EPUB importing and reading, both reading modes, speed control and the original palette remain free. The App Store shows the current price for your region before you purchase.

When does my Book Shower start and finish?

Choose 5, 10 or 20 minutes, or one chapter, then tap Start or Done. Reading resumes from your current position and the timer begins. Opening the reading controls pauses reading. At the target reading duration, Floe finishes the current passage and shows a small completion card. Tap Done to stay paused or Keep reading to continue without the timer. A one-chapter session ends at the chapter boundary. If you finish the book first, the card says so.

If you return to settings during an active session, keeping the same duration resumes the time remaining. Choosing a different duration starts a new timer from your current reading position. Closing the sheet without confirming does not start a new session.

Where are the color and reminder settings?

Time and Color open the same settings sheet. After Floe Plus is unlocked, the sheet includes duration, reading colors and an optional daily reminder. Allow notifications when prompted. If a reminder does not appear, check Floe's notification permission and your iPhone's Focus settings.

How do I restore Floe Plus?

Open About and tap Restore Purchases, or use Restore Purchases on the purchase sheet. Use the Apple Account that owns the eligible purchase. You may need an internet connection to restore or load purchase information. No separate Floe sign-in is needed.

Can I try the app without purchasing?

Yes. Import your own DRM-free EPUB and use ordinary reading without buying Floe Plus. Time and Color show the optional purchase sheet when locked. There is no seven-session trial or automatic subscription renewal.
